Measurements & Design

Materials
Base: 8 ½” x 11”, On 11” side score at 5 ¼ and 5 ¾. If you are using a ribbon to close, you will want to attach that to the base cover across the width evenly meeting at the center where you can tie to hold closed. Then you can layer the front and back covers and the ribbon holds firm and neatly.
Front Cover DSP: 5” x 8 ¼ “ (shown black with tiny hearts)
Back Cover: Cardstock 5” x 8 ¼ “ (not shown – black)
Front Cover Matt: 4” x 5 ¼ “ (shown white)
Front Cover DSP Covering: 3 ¾ “ x 5”(shown pink with white polka dots)
Decorate as desired
Inside: 2 - 4 ½ “x 5” mats (shown as pink with white polka dots) come down approx.. ¼ “ from top on each side and center.
Large Pockets: 2 – 5 ½ “ x 4” Score ¼ inch on each side and bottom (shown in white, I used a retired heart punch for border) Cut out bottom 2 corners and miter. Also, miter top of ¼ “ area to avoid bulk. Fold on scoring and burnish well. Place tear and tape on ¼ “ fold areas and center over matt. (give the appearance that the mat comes all the way down by just covering it. If you use a punched out border you will want this to show through. Burnish down well. And decorate as desired ( I used coordinating washi tape)
Small Postage Pocket:
2 ½ “ x 2” score ¼ “ on bottom and 2 sides. Use ½ “ punch to “take a bite” out of the top. Using the same method of folding and mitering, complete and attach to large pockets.
You can fill with note cards, homemade writing paper, regular A2 cards. This will hold approximately 4-6 cards (2-3 on each side with envelopes)
