Margie's Thursday Thoughts

Good morning one and all! It has been awhile since I sat down at my computer to talk to my friends. Today didn't seem any different when I woke up however after my morning coffee and a bit of breakie, I felt today was the day to get a move on!
To say that this last 19 months has been a roller coaster ride is putting it lightly. I don't know about you but I am tired of the Covid talk, time to talk about fun things we can do in the comfort of our own studio, kitchen table, coffee table, back yard or where ever you feel like crafting.
This past week-end was spent with 7 fantastic and creative women who all like us are tired of the same old day in day out activity alone. We laughed, we cried and we crafted...boy did we craft. (And we ate a little too! Our snack table was better than the corner store, lol) Did we feel safe and comfortable, A GREAT BIG YES! Because we all follow the protocols necessary for in person events. I came home with a light heart, a jump in my step and a readiness to move forward with life like never before. I realized this past week-end we all are feeling the same and are looking for those creative outlets to keep us going. This I thought was very important. It is easier to put ourselves in a dark place than it is to reach for others in the light these days.
Over the course of the next few days I will be preparing various different quicky projects to highlight on my blog with step by step instructions. I will be using current Stampin' Up! products in my projects however once in a while I may toss in a retired item to show how you can keep them alive and useful in your stash of wonderful things.
Monday I will be highlighting a fun fall project with maybe a little Hallowe'en flare that you can add if you are into Hallowe'en as I am.
I look forward to seeing you all back here on Monday as we have "fun with fall". Keep smiling, look to the positive and stay safe wherever in the world you may be!
Happy Crafting...Margie
